A person with curly hair and glasses pouring a bag of potatoes into a large metal kitchen vessel, with a brick wall background and various kitchen equipment visible.
A husky dog with blue eyes, wearing a colorful bandana, leaning on a counter in a restaurant or cafe.
A person transfers ground meat from a large industrial meat grinder into a gray plastic tub. The meat grinder, made of stainless steel, has a large opening and a spout from which the meat is falling into the tub. The scene appears to be in a commercial kitchen or meat processing facility.

Mission:

Our mission is to create, strengthen, and sustain a thriving local craft community by driving unique and culture-building experiences through our craft – beer – and direct authentic engagement with folks across our community.

We provide affordable, premium quality beer and a comfortable communal space for people to enjoy and feel at home, harmonizing with the latest industry and local trends. We seek to tease out the things people love about drinking beer, gathering, and learning. With DIY at the forefront and our feet – as business owners – firmly planted on the frontlines, Mattie Groves Brewery is a unique personal expression of our story and values, constantly seeking to cultivate a fresh, genuine experience from top to bottom.

We exist on the unceded Ancestral Homelands of the Nisenan Tribe.

For thousands of years, the Nisenan thrived here in relationship with the land – until the gold rush of 1848 ushered in violence, dispossession, forced assimilation, and genocide. Land was stolen. Families were separated. Cultural practices were outlawed. Federal recognition was illegally terminated in 1964, and the Tribe has yet to have their land returned.
